iSANMATE PLA carbon fiber filament is a composite of PLA and chopped carbon fiber material.
Compared with ordinary PLA, it provides additional strength, hardness, rigidity and has excellent layer adhesion between.
Models printed with this material can use less material to produce a lighter part without sacrificing strength.
Carbon fiber materials consistently demonstrate less warping during printing and this material can be printed without an enclosure.
- Strong, durable filament
- Low warpage and shrinkage
- High rigidity
- +/-0.03mm tolerance diameter
- Neat windings
Printing Guidelines
- Print Hot-end temperature: 200~240c
- Print Bed temperature: 50c
- Print Speed: 30~200mm/s
- Nozzle: > 0.5mm to avoid clog
Tips
- Nozzles with larger diameters (0.5mm or more) are much less prone to clogging, as the fibers can pass through the nozzle tip easily. If clogging occurs after printing the first layer or two, try increasing the first layer height. A nozzle positioned too close to the bed can create increased back-pressure during these initial layers, causing fibers to accumulate and temporarily clog the nozzle.
