Magigoo Supergrip is a new Magigoo adhesive specifically formulated for use with Flexible plates and other polymeric based plates. It works with most commonly used materials such as PLA, PET-G, ABS/ASA, TPU and others, and offers easy application, release upon cooling, and water-based cleaning.

  • Enhanced Compatibility: Superior spreadability with all types of flex plates (Smooth PEI, Textured PEI, PC, Engineering plates, Satin Sheets, etc.) when compared to other Adhesives.
  •  Extended Lifespan: Lasts longer on flex plates, due to absence of flaking and loss of adhesive on removal. Over 250 full bed* applications. Multiple prints per application.
  •  Stronger Adhesion: Provides stronger adhesion with all materials over a wider temperature range when compared to other Adhesives.
  •  Improved ASA Adhesion
  •  Improved PLA Adhesion: Offers improved adhesion with PLA at colder temperatures (<50°C), enabling PLA printing at 45°C with minimal warping.
  •  Easier Removal and Cleaning: When compared to alternative solutions
  •  Extends the Lifespan of the Build-plateAdhesive acts as a protective layer

*Tested on 235*235mm bed size

How does Magigoo Supergrip work?

MAGIGOO® Supergrip is the 3D printing adhesive designed for use on flexible and polymeric surfaces with PLA, ASA, PET-G, TPU, ASA, HIPS and more 3D printing materials

The adhesive makes sure prints stick firmly when the print-bed is hot and then releases as soon as it cools down. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove prints from the bed. They just pop off when the bed cools down.

MAGIGOO® has been designed and tested to work with common plastics. As the composition of each plastic is a little different, the ideal settings for MAGIGOO® may vary. Here are the recommended temperature ranges for effective application.

Material Bed Temperature*
PLA 45 – 60 °C
ABS 90 – 110 °C
PET-G 60 – 90 °C
TPU 20 – 80 °C
ASA 90 – 110 °C

For more specific settings, check out our list of tested materials.

How to Apply

  • Shake the MAGIGOO® pen like you mean it
  • Press the nib (end of your pen) on the printing bed for MAGIGOO® to flow.
  • Spread the adhesive evenly on the printing area(cover your bed with an even thin layer).
  • Make sure that no spots are missed.

It’s best to apply MAGIGOO® when the printing bed is still cold, but it will also work when the printing bed is already hot. Make sure to use MAGIGOO® with the suggested plastics and with a correctly levelled bed and suitable printing settings. Squeeze bottle gently only when the nib is pressed against the bed. Keep the nib away from dirt.

After your prints have finished and popped off, clean the cool printing bed by wiping it with a damp cloth. Use just water.

Magigoo Original can be applied to commonly used 3D printing surface such as glass, PEI, Buildtak, Powder coated flex plates, Kapton tape and others.

MAGIGOO® is best stored upright, with the cap closed and away from direct sunlight. MAGIGOO® was specifically designed for mobility, which is good news if you want to take it with you on-the-go.
